Blackie the Dog needs a home
Blackie is a sweet black Labrador retriever mix who was turned in to the shelter by her owner. Two of her puppies were turned in with her. Blackie has quite a distinct under-bite with some deformity of her chin. She is about seven years old and appears healthy otherwise, and the deformity doesn't hinder her ability to eat and function normally. Both of her puppies also have an under-bite, but to much less severe degrees. Blackie is very timid amidst the noise and confusing environment of the shelter, but she is gentle and very affectionate once she realizes that she can trust you. There is no stray hold on Blackie or her puppies, so they should be ready to go to their new forever homes.
